Located next to the scenic Manawatu Gorge Reserve just twenty minutes east of Palmerston North and two hours north of Wellington. A beautifully rural country spot, in a lovely native setting, just moments over the Ballance Bridge off state highway three.

Here we specialize in a wide range of Clydesdale horse drawn wagon adventures and horse trekking experiences. Our guides between them have over 60 years experience in the field of living, riding and driving horses. Come and experience the simple joy and relaxation of a 1 or 2 hour trek. 2 people are all you require to make a booking. Regular overnight to 3 day treks available.

For the more adventurous rider try our 8 or 14 day pioneering odysseys. Ride old trails from the Manawatu gorge across the Tararua district to the Pacific coast at Akitio and Cape Turnagain. We offer you a unique pioneering experience with open fires, healthy camp cooked food and warm dry beds. Imagine saddling up in wonderful inland native bush and riding out to the sunny east coast for a meal of fresh fish!
